Professional Profile

Involved in Laparoscopic surgery during its introduction to NZ, and performed most of the first laparoscopic procedures in NZ (e.g. bowel resections and appendicectomies). Since 1998, have been involved in weight loss surgery, and in 2005 was elected as President for OSSANZ (Obesity Surg Society Aust and NZ). Also a member of the college of Phlebology, Society of Laparoscopic Surgery, and International Federation of Obesity Surgery.
