The hospital provides services to around 5,000 patients each year. Brightside Hospital is proud to be able to offer a wide range of surgical services and post-operative care.

Here’s what patients can expect from Southern Cross Hospital Brightside:

• To make your stay as comfortable as possible, rooms for overnight stay have an ensuite, television, telephone, refrigerator, radio and tea/coffee making facilities. They are centrally heated / air conditioned. Several rooms provide access to our gardens or have a balcony.
• The day-stay facility is bright and modern.
• We have a professional nursing team focused on providing a high standard of care and comfort during your stay.
• We provide nourishing, quality meals for overnight patients and can cater for special dietary requirements on request. We can also arrange visitor meals for a reasonable charge, if requested early in the day.
• We provide complimentary daily newspapers for all patients.
• Visiting hours are 11am to 8pm but special arrangements can be made at your request. We aim to ensure a restful and private environment for all our patients.
• We have ample visitor parking.
• We have beautiful gardens and native trees for patients and visitors.
