This new purpose-built facility with 6 operating theatres, a procedure room, H.D.U., large day stay unit and 48 inpatient beds was opened in August 2007 and developed by Norfolk Southern Cross Ltd (a joint venture between over 30 surgeons and anaesthetists and Southern Cross Hospitals).

The hospital is located in spacious grounds to the south of Tauranga and offers modern patient rooms equipped with all the facilities necessary to make our patients’ experience as comfortable as possible.

These can be arranged with skilled practitioners, and include physiotherapy, orthotic services and a range of domiciliary services. Our credentialed specialists perform over 6000 operations per year covering a range of surgical procedures including orthopaedics, general and laparoscopic surgery, urology, otolaryngology (ENT), gynaecology, plastic & reconstructive surgery and endoscopic investigations.
