Southern Cross Hospital North Harbour, is one of the Auckland region hospitals within our network, and facilities have recently been expanded with the addition of the Northern Surgical Centre. The site includes the only private surgical in-patient private hospital on the city’s North Shore, and Waitemata Endoscopy's newly equipped suite.
Established in 1991, our modern hospital now provides services to over 6,000 patients annually, and is widely known amongst patients and specialists in the area. It is their fast growing demand for our services that drives new investments, and that has delivered extensions and ongoing improvements to patient facilities within the hospital.
The latest initiative is the addition of the Northern Surgical Centre, adjacent to the surgical hospital, offering an expanded range of health services - including consulting rooms and radiology services - and effectively consolidating patient services within a single location.
