We’ve been providing high quality surgical care for the benefit of the local community for over 20 years and, whether you visit us as a day-day patient, or for a longer stay, you can be assured of comfort, privacy and expert medical and nursing care.

Located in the heart of the Manawatu, our hospital facilities represent a convenient option for visitors from nearby region. We are particularly well placed for those patients who may want to avoid the stress of driving to Wellington.

Our Specialist Centre is a multidisciplinary medical centre located on the hospital site. This enables medical specialists to consult with patients and conduct examinations, while also offering convenient access to other facilities for minor procedures within the fully equipped hospital.  Our consulting rooms and now have specialists in gynaecology, general surgery, ophthalmology, endoscopy and pain management consulting from the hospital.

As demand for these services grows, we continue to invest in our facilities to ensure that we respond to the needs of specialists and patients in the Manawatu.

We are increasingly working to develop our relationship with the public sector, co-operating with MidCentral Health, for example - and offering services not only to those who pay for themselves, but also to ACC funded patients and patients covered by specific public funding arrangements.
